Welcome!

The historic and continuing popularity of Florida as the world’s premier visitor destination is due in great measure to the vision, entrepreneurial spirit and hard work of a select group of tourism industry superstars. These individuals are recognized by VISIT FLORIDA each year by inclusion into the Florida Tourism Hall of Fame, which was inaugurated in 2001.

Each year, one Hall of Fame inductee will be chosen from among the nominations received and approved by the VISIT FLORIDA Board of Directors. Admission into the Florida Tourism Hall of Fame is awarded to those persons (living or deceased) whose life achievement in the tourism industry has had a significant and lasting positive impact on the economy and residents of Florida. Nominees must have served the Florida tourism industry for a minimum of 10 years. Self-nominations will not be accepted.

To submit a nomination you will be asked to provide details on the nominee's contributions and achievements in Florida's Tourism Industry. Click here for more information.

The nomination period is open and will close May 3. No nominations will be accepted after that time.

The 2024 Hall of Fame inductee will be announced in August at the Florida Governor's Conference on Tourism.
